Ordering and Purchasing

Yes, gift certificates can be purchased online and in our store. You can access gift certificates from the menu under the Gift section, in the search bar under Gift Card or in all products. 

We appreciate your interest in our products, and we understand that it can be disappointing when the item you want is currently out of stock. Here are a few options for you:

  • Waitlist Notification:
    • Consider joining our waitlist for a specific item. By doing so, you'll be among the first to know when/if the product will be back in stock. Simply send us an email at with the product you wish to order, your name and your preffered contact method (either email and/or phone number).

Returns and Exchanges Policy:

At Steppin’ Out, we strive to make your shopping experience delightful and hassle-free. For returns and exchanges within the US, please review our policy below:

Return Eligibility:

  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition as received, and with the original tags.

Initiating a Return or Exchange:

  • If you need to return or exchange an item, please contact our team at within 10 days of receiving your order. Provide your order number, details of the item you wish to return or exchange, and the reason for the return.
  • Items can also be returned in person at our physical store. 

Return Shipping:

  • Please ship items to: Steppin’ Out at 120 K Bent St. Taos, NM 87571. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Include your name and order number in the package.


  • If you would like to exchange an item, we ask that you make a return and place a new order for your desired exchange.
  • Items can also be exchanged in person at our physical store. 


  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Refunds will be processed promptly, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.

Damaged or Defective Items:

  • In the rare event that you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately for assistance.

International Returns and Exchanges: 

  • Follow the same instructions as outlined for US returns. Please contact our team within 10 days of receiving your order. The return must be submitted by email however don't worry about the time it takes to ship. That is not included in the timeframe. 
  • Customs Duties and Taxes: Customers are responsible for any customs duties or taxes associated with the return. We recommend checking with local authorities for details on customs procedures.
